My fabulous stay at Linden House
I have stayed in many places in Southampton and None of them come anywhere close to the outstanding service you receive from Arlene. Linden House owners need to at the very least look at the way Arlene runs this place,some form of acknowledgement from the owner needs to be given here.What a lovely touch to open your door to a breakfast goodie bag. Brilliant. very helpful and and professional manner throughout my stay. I met some lovely guests there too.To my great surprise my room was upgraded to an on suite, fridge and a microwave too, and yes Linden House still retained my original price, could not have asked for more. Looking forward to seeing Arlene and Linden House again in the summer.Thank you very much. Made my Christmas even better.

Great place to lay your head if that's all you need.
Ridiculously cheap for a single room. There was an apple, orange, small juice carton and biscuits in the room, which was old looking but very clean. Perfect for a simple bed for the night, with a wash basin and TV and a modern bathroom up the hall. It was all I needed and the host was fabulous, allowing me to park early and give me a key so I could gain entry later in the evening.
