The property was nice, the gentleman who checked me in was new to the job and he was so very helpful,knowledgeable & polite. I had accidentally double booked myself & he helped me to remedy the issue. Unfortunately the better of the 2 rooms was not available for both nights,but he took the time to call the manger and ask. My biggest concern was the rooms cleanliness. Im not unreasonable by any means,but the floor was sticky, my socks were black rom the floor, the chain lock wasn't attached to the framewhich had so many holes already (I fixed it with new screws and anchors), the freezer/fridge had so much frost I couldnt put anything in it (I chizzled out what i could & defrosted it the1st night). The a/c filters were discusting, soda spilled down the entire back-rest of the couch, the doors,handles and blow-dryer we're sooo dirty! And to top it off there appeared to be dried blood very visibly speared on the bathroom door. It was such a late check in the 1st day I didn't make a fuss , but when I called the desk next day, they were full. The room was huge! And the price was okay, but the room was not even close to clean. I will be contacting corporate. Considering the Covid issue I think it's important to maintain a level of cleanliness,not only because of covid but basic cleanliness standards for hotels. It might sound like I'm over exaggerating- I AM NOT. Sorry:( JoAnne
